A trick within FileMaker to use a single dash in the name of a layout, value list or script to create a dividing line between layouts, scripts and value list items. These creates a clean divider when viewed.

Now with FileMaker 9, we can actually use a separator element instead of naming a script as dash. This is part of the recently added new button with the option to add a script, a grouping folder or the separator. Overall this has been embraced by the developer community and we can only help the same feature may creep into layouts and value lists in future releases of FileMaker!
