The option setting dialog box that comes up when you use the send email script step. This dialog box has a robust set of options but it doesn’t take too much time to master it. You can use static information, a field or a calculate value to determine the To, CC, BCC, Subject And Message areas of the outgoing email. You can use a static location or a variable value to reference an enclosure. You can have the email sent for the current record or one email for all the records in the found set.
Finally, the Send Mail script step option dialog box allows you to modify the To, CC and BCC addresses areas to collect all the addresses for the found set of records. This allows you to use one email for multiple people instead of one email for each record. This is handy because FileMaker uses your compatible email application to send the emails. Using this setting allows you to keep your Sent Email folder controlled without dozens/hundreds of sent mail copies.
