As you likely know, FileMaker Advanced allows a developer to design custom menus and control what menu appears on which layout. In the Manage Custom Menu dialog box, you can define a default menu for the entire file. This allows you to be secure that, by default, a menu of your your design will be in place. This might be comforting because your default custom menu might exclude potentially dangerous menu commands such as Delete Record, Delete Found Set, Replace and Find/Replace.
