CATEGORY: Layouts
CLASS: Custom Menus
When you jump into the world of custom menus, there are some terms that you may want to become familiar. One of the more obvious terms is the Menu Item, which is a particular item under a menu. A menu item can be a command, a separator or a submenu.
Here you can see that I use custom menus extensively in my FileMaker CRM framework application InBizness. Each module has its own menu for its unique options. Here you can see the menu item “Add New Timecard” from the Staff menu in the staff module. This creates a new timecard record and automatically attaches itself to that staff member record.
