Multiple Criteria Searches

Multiple Criteria Searches

CATEGORY: Found Sets
CLASS: Basics

Multiple Criteria Searches describes a search in which there are two or more search criteria which must be met. For example, invoices with a balance due and are 30 days past being shipped out.

The most popular is to enter into find mode and type in search criteria into multiple fields before performing the find. A second method is to setup a second search request (much like creating a new record in browse mode). In the second request, you enter in your search criteria. When the search executes, the first request is performed and that found set is then searched by the second search request.

Yet other multiple search results can be employed by using Constrain and Extended finds.
