CLASS: Privilege Sets
The Data Entry Only Privilege Set is used in concert with account settings to set access levels to a FileMaker database. To help get the ball rolling, FileMaker has 3 predefined privilege sets for new files. The are Full Access, Data Entry Only and Read Only access.
The Data Entry Only Set allows for full editing of records but does not allow any database structure access. This means that the Data Entry Only set can create new records, edit them, delete them, print them and more. However, the Data Entry Only set cannot create layouts, edit them, create scripts, create fields or other areas of database structure.
