The Resize To menu command is one of the favorite layout organization options for many a FileMaker developer. As I’m sure you know, selected layout objects can be resized by clicking on one of the available handles and dragging the handle to coincide to the size change desired. The handle is a term often given to the small squares of a selected FileMaker layout object(s).
The Resize To Command is designed to quickly update a selection of layout objects in one quick sweep. Generally, a developer will select the layout objects, align them in a desired way and then apply the Resize To menu command to make all the objects the same size (vertically, horizontally or both).
